Call for Abstracts
The Scientific Committee invites and encourages all authors to submit their abstracts for consideration and inclusion in the Scientific Programme. The abstracts will be included in the Book of Abstracts, which will be distributed at the Congress.
Please, read carefully the instructions prior to writing your abstract.
Abstracts not fulfilling the given instructions cannot be accepted.

Method of Submission
| The on-line submission form is available here. |
• All abstracts can be submitted on-line only.
• Abstracts sent in hard copy by post and abstracts sent by fax will not be accepted!
• All abstracts must be submitted in PDF format.
• Abstracts have to be prepared according to the ACS requirements using templates published here (TeX format) or using this lightened version (Microsoft Word format).
• The on-line submission system allows authors to check if their abstracts have been successfully submitted and to edit their submitted abstracts.

Abstracts Submission Rules
• A submitting author of an abstract must register prior to submitting an abstract.
• The on-line abstract submission form can be entered only with a password, which will be given to authors automatically upon the registration. Please register first and than submit your abstract.
• A submitting author of an abstract is considered to be a corresponding author.
• A presenting author can be different from a submitting author.
• Submitting authors of accepted abstracts must pay the registration fee by July 15, 2010. Otherwise the presentation will be cancelled and substituted.
• Authors can modify their abstracts on-line before the deadline. To login again, you will be asked for your password.
Abstracts Submission Instructions
• All abstracts must be submitted in a PDF format.
• Abstracts must be in English
• Submitted abstracts must be original. Abstracts previously published or presented at an international scientific meeting cannot be submitted.
• Indicate whether you prefer your abstract to be presented as an oral or poster presentation
• Please indicate the appropriate topic:
1. Self-assembling, Stimuli-responsive and Hierarchically Organized Systems
2. Colloid, Polymer and Polyelectrolyte Solutions; Concentrated Systems and Gels
3. Non-equilibrium and Kinetically Arrested States; Phase Transitions
4. Thin Films, Interfaces and Surfaces; Wetting Phenomena
5. Novel Nano-to-Mesostructured Functional Materials
6. Biologically Important and Bioinspired Systems; Pharmaceutical and Medical Applications
Instructions - Abstract Layout
• Abstracts have to be prepared according to the ACS requirements using templates published here (TeX format) or using this lightened version (Microsoft Word format).
• Requirements for formatting and for the layout are contained in the above mentioned lightened version of the abstract submission template (lightened template in Microsoft Word format, lightened template in PDF format).
• Abstract layout and formatting must be in accordance with the template. Abstracts not meeting requirements for the layout and formatting will be rejected.
• Check spelling and grammar carefully - direct reproduction from your electronically sent abstract text means that any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific data will be reproduced as submitted
• Standard abbreviations may be used
Reviewing, Abstract Acceptance and Presentation Format
• Abstracts received by the deadline will be reviewed and acceptance/rejection decisions will be available 1 month after the submission deadline
• Abstracts will not be included in the Scientific Program nor published in the Book of Abstracts unless its submitting authors registration payment is received by August 1, 2010.
• The presenting author of a selected abstract commits himself/herself to attend the Congress and present the abstract in the session at the time decided upon by the Scientific Committee.
